The Crater Regional Workforce Development Board (CRWDB) has two Career Centers to serve employers in our region. The CRWDB coordinates workforce training and career services through federal funding from the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
Recruitment and Hiring of Qualified Candidates
- Job fair assistance, on-site and at employers’ facilities
- Assistance in writing job descriptions
- Job opening postings on the VA Workforce Connection website and in Career Works Centers
- Assistance with posting jobs in person, by phone, or in the centers
- Facilitation of the application process based on need
- Prescreening and referral of qualified applicants
- Referring participants to job openings
